ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Still quiet in the streets of the 5th, 6th and 7th arrondissements of Paris... just tourists and some locals enjoying the (even) small(er) town feel of things.Currently viewing: on lensculture, Portraits of women from Rio's favelas stare out from the hillsides, by Paris-based artist JR. (For a bit of background, my Parisist writeup on JR's work from 2006 is here.) Also, Embedded and then "disembedded"... on (Notes on) Politics, Theory & Photography blog.

love how JR works to take the "art gallery" to the people instead of vice versa. those on the hillside look amazing.
happy birthday :)
This is a nice people series. Love the composition on shot 4.
Another great set, there is just something about Paris in B&W. 1 & 3 are my favs.
