ADDITIONAL NOTES:
What should have been two hopscotch flights from Paris to the Portuguese island of Madeira, turned into a door to door 14 hour ordeal of delays in Paris, a missed flight in Lisbon, missed flight lines, lost baggage in Madeira, lost baggage claims lines, and all sorts of rental car hiccups. Above, futzing away the time by photographing the big rooms between 10am and 11pm.

What an ordeal! At least you could take some beautiful photos. I love when you shoot in black an white. There is a real sense of drama in this series. Hope you eventually got to where you were going and had a wonderful vacation.
You've seemed to have captured "dismal". I remember when air travel was so special and all the excitement at the airport with great anticipation that you were traveling "somewhere". Now, it seems such a pain and everyone's all grumpy. Hopefully, this was a great trip for you! At least they keep them floors nice and polished.
I like the third one.
Its enough to put you off traveling but there is always a silver lining. Great set of images.
