ADDITIONAL NOTES:

What I love best about the Paris flea markets is not the goods you can find, but the way that all of the sellers enjoy long and well-prepared lunches with wine at small tables next to their stuff. It's a small detail that I have yet to see at other flea markets outside of France.

Another Paris brocante, one abroad, and one back home on this site.

The light in all of these is so sublime. It's that last shot tho that just gets me. My Dad *loved* to buy used books, and for some reason that shot reminds me of him as a young man. Just lovely (as always!)

Love flea markets. You never know what treasures are to be found among the "stuff". I like the group of people enjoying a good laugh about the woman who upolstered her chairs in the same material as her dress. Aaahhh, there's the pictuire of grand papa!

Well, I like the flea market in which people drink wine for lunch.

Rion, what lens did you use to shoot these? Also, did you shoot these on your 30d? They look so crisp...
