ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Santorini, Greece: Above, on the water's edge of Akrotiri village on the southern coast of Santorini. Before we sat down for lunch down the beach, the woman who runs the coastal cave restaurant, the Cave of Nikolas, ushered me in to take a few photos like this one. Though I don't know for sure, I'm guessing that's Nikolas. Anyone know Greek?More postcards from the Greek isle to come...
my idea of a great vacation spot. i love this series.
That is Nicolas indeed, and the woman is called Stathia (from Efstathia I guess).
The text is a poem about Nicolas and Nicolas' cave.
Hello from Greece, I am reading your blog everyday and this post was a nice surprise!
Each one communicates the "quiet life" well. I think I need to see that for myself... looks relaxing and visually stimulating at the same time.
Nikolas was a greek orthodox saint.
I'm loving these Greece sets.
Nice set, really like #2. I always try to take a similar image whenever we are at an interesting location.
this set is wonderful. #2 is so serene. (perhaps this is why my parents went to greece for their honeymoon!)
