ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Jardin du Luxembourg: During the summer, men of all ages gather in small groups in the Parisian jardin to face off in chess at the outdoor tables. Some play slowly-paced games, while others play in rapid-fire, almost simultaneous moves. As they greet each other and sit down to watch the games, awaiting their turn, they seem to all know each other from the neighborhood. Two years and one month ago, I photographed another chess game, and while that one was also in the center of a world capital, the two scenes were completely different. In Paris, there was no intensity, no showboating, and no spectacle of cameras at the games. The local players were focused, but relaxed, unaware of the people around them. They seemed to be just enjoying the warm afternoon in the company of their associates.

I like shot #5; lots of tension and action in the hand.
Another fantastic series. You are the only person I know that posts photos in series like this, And even if there would be others, you are still the Master of it. Great work as usual....
Light is always perfectly rendered in your pictures.
