ADDITIONAL NOTES:
time marches on, memories fade, people change, buildings fall or are torn down before they are replaced, moments pass and might never return if not for a witness who captures what they see... and then tells a story about the way they saw it. there are many reasons to keep a photoblog, but perhaps this is one of the main reasons why i've kept one...in closing this chapter, i'm leaving behind a city that has given me some lovely, difficult, and irreplaceable experiences, both captured and uncaptured on this site. maybe i wouldn't remember as much of my eight years in new york city if not for the five years of photos... each shot reminds me of the day i took it, of the conversations that took place before or after it, and of who i was in that moment that i clicked the shutter.
above, some photos that weren't previously picked. they aren't a summary and they don't begin to explain my time in nyc, but they're all little moments of my everydays that, in looking back, feel extraordinarily and uniquely new york city.

I'm sure you will have more amazing stuff about paris but I will definetly miss the daily new moments of your nyc.
