ADDITIONAL NOTES:

above, life in the streets of chinatown, new york city. just south of canal street in manhattan, chinatown can be like another city entirely, with foods, traditions and street activity like no where else in manhattan. now that i'll be away, i'll enjoy other photobloggers' views into the nooks and crannies of this part of town. it, like many of the ethnic sections of the five boroughs, are ripe for more coverage.

great series. i've only been to nyc once, but went down to chinatown and had the most amazing slap up meal... excellent stuff....

Always go to Chinatown when your in the city. The sights and smells are amazing as is your beautiful work in black and white. You can always grab the latest movies on DVD, even the day the movie premieres at your local theater, gotta love it...

I love seeing the Chinatowns of other cities... I recently explored the one in San Francisco and I have visited NYC's in the past (and have also photographed LA's Chinatown extensively). Nice choice of b + w and I like how you caught the little details.
