ADDITIONAL NOTES:
the hell's kitchen flea market has merged with chelsea's old annex antiques flea market, giving 39th street (between 9th and 10th avenues) more life than it's had in recent years. now there are many oddities to enjoy every weekend, (including some of the people).
there is also a history of street market photos on this site: from march 2002 on broadway, from august 2002 in the west village, from september 2002 in greenpoint, from july 2004 in hells kitchen and on 6th ave in chelsea, from october 2004 in chelsea, and from august 2005 in union square.
if that's not enough, there's more mirror shots, more stuff, and more hells kitchen on this site.

wow... such beautiful use of color.
I visited a few flea markets while in NYC this spring but unfortunately did not get to see this particular one. I adore the first photo (oh so creepy hand) and I wish I could have that set of tumblers in the 6th photo! Did you end up buying anything?
