on 48th street, up a steep set of stairs, in a third floor room filled with guitars and accordions, Carlo Greco builds and repairs instruments at a shop called "Alex's." for 30 years, musicians have known this establishment by reputation, and come to Alex and Carlo to consult on and fix their instruments, or to hang out and play before they buy.
