ADDITIONAL NOTES:

here's the phonecam version of this shot... seeing the crack of the two pieces being held together. the phonecam has that instant feel, but you just can't replace the flexibility of the better camera. still, i'm not sure which i like better. --- more rb827 photos in clusters at flickr (which includes an image of the art without the piece we're holding together above).

snapshot textures from a hazy afternoon in dumbo

I like the portraits in this series. Great capture of their facial expressions. The guy with the sax looks like he's having a blast. The other guy looks like he's confused.

The Chair in picture #2 looks comfy and The Sax player looks good.

A little entertainment for your ride home. We sure don't get sax players on the buses in Columbus... to bad.

Love the last one with the focus on the camera. Common scene out of the life of a photoblogger. Looks like a neat cam too.

Well, I have to say the regular camera version of #1 is better than the phone camera version, but the phone camera version would have been better if the hand wasn't in it. The wonky fidelty of the phone cam, I think, would have suited the subject better, but the way it handles the hand makes the effect look less deliberate and more "it's a phonecam shot."

the last one is a really sexy image
