there may be no more beautiful place than empire-fulton ferry state park, just across the east river within brooklyn's dumbo neighborhood. from this newly-created park, there are phenomenal views of manhattan (photos to come), the brooklyn bridge, and the manhattan bridge (shown above). more bridges and more parks on this site.

thanks to bob (first comment) for the explanation: i kept looking at that doberman catching the frisbee and wondering how you did it (with the depth-of-field and too-big grass and perfectly posed dog, it looks almost like something from Mr. Rogers or a model train set). great shot.
