I've enjoyed all your photos from Japan, but this series is amazing. The whole thing looks so surreal until the last image and the expressions on the couple's faces, which makes the whole occasion seem very personal.

the significance of the parasol is truly realized when the procession reaches the other side of the shrine, where the giant Mai Tai can finally be completed and consumed by the party.

A beautiful representation of traditional Japanese culture. It reminds me of a scene in Lost In Translation when they visit a shrine and a couple is getting married. :)
