ADDITIONAL NOTES:
central park, new york city: above, workers in the process of opening one of The Gates, a temporary art installation in Central Park. --- all throughout the park as people gathered to watch this morning, The Gates workers made sure space was clear below each gate and then, like pulling the strip of cardboard on a pillsbury muffin tin to release it, the saffron colored vinyl unfurled, dropping its cardboard tube to the ground with a hollow thunk.
