ADDITIONAL NOTES:

above, rockefeller center, renamed "democracy plaza" for the election. set up with more than four makeshift broadcasting booths, democracy plaza is where nbc, msnbc (above in #2 - chris matthews), cnbc, telemundo and a few other stations are broadcasting from on the eve of the election... these photos from around 6pm tuesday night.

out in the community, satan's laundromat blogs his vote, tienmao liveblogging, eric alba's vote or shut up, carte blanche pedicure, youngna's fotolog, laura's kerry me, flickr's "election" and "i voted," and gothamist on photoblogging the vote... got more? comment.

camera: canon eos digital rebel   oh, and a random sighting tonight... i blurrily caught george W's cousin, billy bush (of access hollywood) and uncle john (see nose in photo) showboating outside of 30 rock before they went up to billy's corner office.

tell me, should i have grabbed them both by the shoulders and shook them or something?

little girl third image down, very "decisive moment". captures the girl's emotional reaction to all the symbols, technology, etc. around her. nice.

The whole democracy plaza/colored ice skating rink seems like some huge farce. At Galapagos in W'burg last night, it seemed like every time an anchor mentioned "we're live from democracy plaza" huge sighs reverberated through the bar. Nice photos--glad to see what it looked like there.
