ADDITIONAL NOTES:
chelsea market is a great new york city staple. -- the chelsea market block is a collection of 18 separate buildings, totaling about 1 million square feet of space. it's origin being the former factory and offices of the national biscuit company. -- in fact, it's the birthplace of the oreo, is currently the home of the food network, oxygyn, ny1 and some great markets, and above all, has free wi-fi... (yea!)
it's especially a great space during the holidays. in front of manhattan fruit exchange, there's currently a hall of jack o lanterns by hugh mcmahon, the pumpkin man to get us in the mood for all hallows' eve.
