ADDITIONAL NOTES:Olvera Street is the oldest part of the City of Los Angeles otherwise known as the birthplace of the City of Angels or El Pueblo Historic Monument. Many Latinos often refer it as La Placita Olvera. while it is more of a tourist attraction these days, it is also still a community gathering place. existing buildings on the street date back to the early 1800s.
