ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Olvera Street is the oldest part of the City of Los Angeles otherwise known as the birthplace of the City of Angels or El Pueblo Historic Monument. Many Latinos often refer it as La Placita Olvera. while it is more of a tourist attraction these days, it is also still a community gathering place. existing buildings on the street date back to the early 1800s. more history and old photos at olvera-street.com.

hey cuz! nice to see you were in sunny cali. great photos.
I love the vibrant colours in these photographs, really captures the spirit of Olvera Street. I really wanted to go down there for The Day of the Dead celebrations but alas the bus system worked against me. Perhaps in the Fall I will be able to shoot more around Olvera Street.
These are BEAUTIFUL pictures. I see the authenicity of the atmosphere at Olvera street through the colors and humility you captured.
