the new york city transit museum is located in a retired court street station in brooklyn. there in the upper hallways, are pieces and photographs of transit history. downstairs on the tracks, train cars are parked on view from every decade of the system's 100 year history.October 27, 2004 will mark the centennial celebration of the nyc subway. more great info at nycsubway.org.
