ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Central London. We leave the UK with a few last shots of the little touristy details that make any big city famous. In London, that's all about Buckingham Palace, red doubledecker buses and phonebooths, Big Ben (livecam), and the London Eye (livecam)...

it's been a lovely trip, and great to see from the perspective of UK photoblogs such as eyematter, emmadodds.co.uk, chromasia, jimbus.org, mgolding, londonphotos.org and photographyblog, to name just a few. i'm also really happy that i caught the tate modern's weather project before it closed.

for continued london-by-nyc coverage, visit some meccapixel goodness.

Great photos. I am jealous that you had the foresight to go before the Weather Project ended (I'm going in a few weeks) but will comfort myself with purchasing lots of Queen Elizabeth china!

Great photos...though I question why you would use a bloke with a mug like that in photo #7

Hey, I like the plate, got the same one at Walmart (free with a purchase of Fruit of the Loom boxer shorts, matching tea cup if you get the t-shirts). Like photo #7 as well, looks like Mike's really "focusing!" What of...a cutie on the other side of the river, naughty, naughty. Great shots, but where are the Beatles?

wow, awesome shots... I totally would expect them to be in like a "Come to England!" book - ha, anyway, in love w/ the kids crossing the street and the ferris wheel - great shots

The kids crossing the street in front of Big Ben is great. Reminds me of Italy--Rome especially--you can tell who is a native by the heads that DON'T turn when a bus drives by the Colosseum.
