it's always fun to be a tourist in your own town when family visits. above: the statue of liberty two weekends ago. my favorite fact about the statue is that its arm sat in madison square park for some time to raise pedestal funds. more about miss liberty's history from 1948.

Hey I agree with you tarotreader3. That photo is brilliant, I think Rion really captured the purity and innocence of childhood in all its splendor, let's demand more photos of that kid!

Thank you Lady Liberty. Wonderful angle and point of view emphasising the height of the statue and the torch, right on Rion! Many of your photographs have very interesting compostions which catch my eye.

I think joe g is a litle bias but I'd have to agree with him none the less, that kid is Damn cute! He must have great family to be that cute!
